Welcome to Vallø Camping

A stone’s throw from the centre of Køge is our 3-star campsite where you can find peace and quiet for the whole family. The campsite is truly idyllic if you want to experience the beach, forests, town life and a genuine summer mood – regardless of whether you are coming with a tent, caravan or renting one of our 25 chalets.

Køge’s old town oozes with a market town atmosphere with music in the old courtyards, market days on Wednesday and Saturday, a number of shops, cosy cafés, many restaurants and not least the sea.

The location of Vallø Camping close to the large Køge Svømmeland (swimming pool and leisure centre), motorway, intercity trains (S-tog) to Copenhagen, and regional trains to Roskilde and Næstved, all make the site the perfect starting point for a range of day trips.

We offer two good multi-use buildings – one of them completely new – both with family and baby changing room. The kiosk offers freshly baked bread, and has an outdoor café and snack bar.

The site offers a wealth of activities – among these bouncy castles, petanque, mini golf, miniature goats and playgrounds together with many kinds of ball games.

Vallø Camping has 25 chalets for rent. In 22 of these it is possible to prepare food. They con-
tain refrigerator, coffee machine, electricity, heating and tableware. Eight of the chalets, all
for five persons and with bed loft, additionally have cold running water. Three small chalets
only contain sleeping accommodation for 4 per-
sons together with electricity and heating. None of the chalets contains shower or toilet
